Surface Restorers & Protectors
AT THE FOREFRONT OF NON-STICK TECHNOLOGY
RITECOAT
Complete Versatile System for a Wide Range of "Non-Stick", Easy-Clean Surfaces
In normal environmental conditions, even the toughest surfaces suffer. Paints oxidise and crack, metals corrode, lacquers and varnishes discolour and grow dull. Even stainless steel ‘stains’. Most exterior and interior surfaces in buildings, marine vessels and transportation vehicles are high-maintenance and are easily stained/discoloured by atmospheric pollution and other contaminants. Harsh and abrasive cleaning methods cause further surface degradation. As a result, the surfaces lose their original appearance and performance. The unique RITECOAT System is the first complete system for renovation, protection and maintenance of a wide range of surfaces -exterior and interior. Imagine a surface protection system that is thin, tough and versatile, and converts high maintenance surfaces into low-maintenance, ‘non-stick’ surfaces. A system that not only safeguards bare surfaces but also protective coatings, so they perform like new for longer.
Typical Applications
Paintwork
Plastics
• Acrylics
• PVC/ vinyl – rigid and flexible
• Polyurethanes
• Polyester film
• Epoxies
• ‘Gelcoat’ polyester resin

Metals Wood
• Steel – bare, galvanised and
stainless
• Bare
• Aluminium – bare and anodised
• Stained
• Copper and textured brass
• Varnished

The Ritecoat System converts ordinary,
high-maintenance materials into “non-stick”, easy-clean surfaces. Working like
“non stick” cookware, Ritecoat surfaces have higher quality, added convenience
and added value because they:
• are much easier to clean,
eliminating the need for harsh and abrasive cleaning
methods
• look cleaner and brighter for longer between cleanings,
improving user satisfaction
• resist surface contamination, weathering and staining/discolouration,
keeping their original appearance and performance much
longer
The Ritecoat System is proven in architectural, marine and transportation
markets. It has achieved countless track records under all types of conditions
throughout the world.
For surfaces already stained/discoloured, the Ritecoat System restores them to
an “as new” appearance. A simple and economical after-care programme keeps
Ritecoat surfaces looking and performing like new for much longer.

COMPONENTS OF RITECOAT SYSTEM
“Riteprep” - Surface Preparation -
Highly effective on a wide range of surfaces
Especially effective in removing ingrained soil from hard
surfaces
Removes the effects of oxidation from faded paintwork
RITECOAT 2200” - Protection
…a special grade of urethane resin
‘Non-stick’, thin film, totally transparent, high gloss
Ultra-violet (UV) resistant
Exceptional resistance to chemical attack and weathering
Proven in performance under the harshest conditions
Stain-resistant, anti-graffiti
Protects surface appearance and performance
Does not support the spread of flame
Ritecoat 2200 has special properties and
performance as follows:
• Thin-film
• Excellent adhesion to many substrates
• Transparent
• Outstanding resistance to weathering;
• Highly resistant to acid attack
• Not sponified by alkalis
• Non-yellowing
• Highly resistant to solvents
• Good abrasion resistance
• Strong water repellency, but also good water vapour permeability so moisture
is not trapped in the backing
• Extra smooth surface with a low coefficient of friction, giving excellent dirt
repellency and ease of cleaning
• Thermally stable, withstands operating temperatures from 120 deg. C to –30
deg. C for extended periods
• Stable in ultraviolet (UV) radiation, absorbs virtually none of the UV range
of the solar spectrum, i.e., wavelengths between 300 and 400nm. Please note
Ritecoat 2200 is not a UV barrier.
• Fire resistant, meets Class 1 Surface Spread of Flame, BS476, Part 7, 1987
